My name is Holly and to my knowledge I don’t have a nickname. I’m an 18 year old college student from England with a strong desire to study geography at university. I’m currently studying for my A levels in biology, geography and ICT.
From head to toe; I have brown (but often dyed), shoulder length hair, blue eyes, straight teeth, no piercings and CDH. I’m 5 foot 5 (ish) and naturally skinny. There’s no dieting secrets here.
I would describe myself as a very self motivated person with an aim to achieve what I want. A few years ago I would have said that I was a shy person but my confidence is growing everyday thanks to college and work. As a nervous habit I use to bite my nails but in the recent months I have tried my hardest to give up. They are finally starting to grow!
I’m currently unemployed but previously I have had a job in a shop. As much as I enjoyed my job I know that having a full time job in the retail industry is just not for me. I’m not 100% sure on which career path I will go down with geography though it is most likely to be teaching.
My friends and family mean a hell of a lot to me. I have a boyfriend called Tyrone who I have been with since we were both 15 years old. He’s always there for me when I’m feeling low and cheers me up by making me laugh and smile.
One of things in life that I live for is traveling. I have to thank my parents for my interest in traveling as we have been visiting places all over the world since I was 3 years old. There are still a lot of places I have not yet been to but I hope that I get to go in the future.
I enjoy listening to music. My love for older bands, like The Police, The Who and Genesis, is the result of listening to my dad’s music collection. I appreciate any band that writes their own music and plays their own songs. I don’t like the majority of music that is produced today but I am a huge fan of Kasabian, who I was fortunate enough to see live on the 8th of June 2011.
Although I don't seem to have watched many films, I do enjoy taking the time to watch a decent film. Especially those made by Christopher Nolan. In 2008 I saw The Dark Knight at the cinema 4 times; 2 of these times were on consecutive days. I was obsessed with the film and I know it pretty much line by line. It still remains my favourite film. The Joker is my superhero.
